Do I need my own Tally licence?
Yes. You need a valid TallyPrime licence to use TallyCloud. You can bring your existing licence to the cloud workspace, or our team can help you get one. TallyCloud provides the hosting — not the Tally software licence.
Can you move my existing Tally data to the cloud?
Yes. Our migration team helps you transfer your company data into your new workspace. You validate your companies and access before go-live, and you keep your own copy of the source data until you accept the move.
How are backups handled?
Every workspace is backed up automatically every day, with 7 restore points retained. You can request a restore from your customer portal and track the job until it completes.
How many users can work at the same time?
It depends on your plan — from a single user on Tally Cloud to larger teams on Multi-User, VPS, CA and Dedicated plans. You can add users or upgrade your plan as your team grows.
Can I print from the cloud to my local printer?
Yes. Remote printing lets you print invoices, reports and vouchers from your cloud workspace to the printer connected to your own computer.
Who owns my data?
Your data remains yours. It is kept in an isolated workspace for your organisation, and you can export your company data at any time.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There is no long-term lock-in on monthly plans — you can cancel from your portal and export your data before the service ends. Every new plan starts with a 30-day free trial.
